...I'm open to prompts for some "5 things" snippets. Because I'm in one of those wacky moods that I'll probably regret in a few hours.

And for a change, I'm also open to a little change of pace. In addition to writing you some WW love, I'll also attempt (probably very poorly) to write some ficlets from other fandoms. If any of you have a burning desire for something from TXF, or even maybe (cringes with apprehension of regretting this) House MD. I ship M/S and House/Cuddy.

Keep in mind that I probably won't write your prompt if its something along the lines of: "5 ways Donna banged Amy with an audience while Leo watched in the Oval Office."

Also, in keeping with the ridiculously inspired thing, I've signed up for the J/D pairing at the [info]au100 challenge. I blame/thank [info]laurenba, whose pestering for sequels got me hooked on the AU love.

Having not seen the show since it aired, I've been re-watching eps of Studio 60 on Hulu.

I'm reminded of what a great show it was. (And how cute Brad is. Yow.)

Sorkin's writing reminds me that even TV can be noble and evocative. His writing makes me think, just for a second, that I would write for television instead of committing myself to the writer's life of strife and poverty. (Not that I would ever pretend that I could hold a candle to what he has done.)

And, having just watched the Disaster show, let me just say this: I love Allison, and Tim, and Allison and Tim. I would watch an entire show with just them. They are fantastic. And I miss them.

My [info]sorkin_fest fic is driving me crazy. In the best and worst sense. Thinking I was just signing up to have some inspiration for a couple of entertaining fics, the first one I've started is already longer than anything I've ever written and I've barely gotten the beginning finished.

Like horses taking the bit in their teeth, Josh and Donna have galloped off into their own universe of possibility, leaving me their wake, pulling my hair out in large tufts.

And that's just the first prompt.

Anyone else feeling some angst over these?

Summary: It’s times like these that she’s almost sure she loves him, strongly and fiercely, and she wonders how they did it, how 8 years of banter and lingering glances and endless, lonely nights were enough. Sure, he’s obnoxious and messy and loud, but here, in his kitchen at dawn, she’s almost sure that the last thing she wants to do is get on a plane and be apart from him.

Sequel to Powerlines in Our Bloodlines.

Hey there, lovely flist and lurkers.

Later on this week I head out to take a job out of state for a couple months, for which I'll be working 12-14 hour days and have limited communication and internet access.

Don't worry, I'm actually doing this for fun. Really. (I'm also not in the CIA).

But anyway, that means that I'll probably be taken a hiatus for LJ for a few months. Rest assured that I will return, and I may even post a farewell fic before I leave. Thanks for all your kind support and encouragement. I love this crazy world.
